Triangles

There are four triangles in the window below - an equilateral triangle, an isosceles triangle, a right-angled triangle and a scalene triangle.
You can move the vertices of the triangles, but in each case the triangle will stay as the same type. When you move the vertices, which properties of the triangle change and which stay the same?
(You may like to measure some angles or lengths.To measure an angle, select the angle tool, then in an anti-clockwise direction, left-click on the two lines that make the angle. To measure a length, select the distance tool and left-click on the two endpoints of the distance you want to measure.)

Can you work out which triangle is which?

Sorry, the GeoGebra Applet could not be started. Please make sure that Java 1.4.2 (or later) is installed and active in your browser (Click here to install Java now)

Can you make a triangle that is:
* both isosceles and right-angled?
* both scalene and right-angled?
* both equilateral and right-angled?
* both equilateral and isosceles?
